If the URC10820 is JP1 capable (which I don't know) build the cable yourself, parts cost less than 5€ and the software is freeware and available in this forum.

And trust "the robman", he knows what he is talking about.

1 week ago I myself was thinking about getting a pronto cause I didn't know about JP1 and was not able operate both my Amps with my nonlearning URC-7541 s.

I looked at all the touchscreen remotes and thankfully that evening I again was using my OFA blindely and it, as always, worked like a charm ...

Sorry, had no time until tonight to test it (and never expected such a fast answer with an upgradfile from you ;) ).

Again it works like a charm without any changes.

Many thanks again,

X4-Tech "Nova 7" LCD monitor

Hi,

as suggested last time (I promise this is the last remote in my household that I want to "copy" atm ;) ) I post another lirc-file which I want to convert to an upgrade.

This is a really small remote used for a small LCD-Display used as statusmonitor for mp3playback on my vdr-pc and i would ...

I must admit that despite the fact that OFAs exist for such a long time this forum is really active with people that have knowledge and still share it with newbs ;)

Just for me, if I again find a "repeat 9072 2227 " in a lircfile it's nec1 protocol and hex for RM is either the last 2 digits from ...

Thx for the explanation, until now I didn't even recognize the yellow borders on the buttons in RM, so for my remotes all upgrades go to TV or SAT as those can use all keys without keymoves ;)

RM and Keymoves

Hi,

as my remote is a bit memory limited on the move/macro side but has more than enough free mem for upgrades I stumbled about something I don't understand.

I now have a working config for my Bellagio AD-2020 DVD-Player (many thanks to The Robman again).
When loaded in RemoteMaster changing the ...

Ups, sorry, didn't know that. I just thought that a remote that can use macros can program them itself.

Thank you very much, I never would have thought that someone would do all the work for me ;)

This upgrade works great, all left to do was changing some keyarrangements to my personal taste.

Just for my curiosity I opened the upgrade file and the lirc file and compared them and have some findings I ...

One important note to remember: macros are global, not device-specific. That means a macro like Power;TV/VCR;Volume+ will send those functions to whatever the current selected device is.

Just to add that you can overcome a macro to be global if you create a keymove in each devicesection that you ...

Need help understanding lirc file to make rmdu pls

Hi,

today I found out that my two URC-7541 OFAs both are JP1 capable and I directly builded a JP1 interface for them and am amazed at the possibilities this small cable can do.

My hopes were high that I now might be able to finally get a working remote profile for my Bellagio AD-2020 for my OFAs ...
