Volume macro on Nevo C2 problem

Hi,

Equipment:
Remote: Nevo C2
TV: Sony
Box: Tivo

I'm trying to create a macro that turns on closed captions when I mute the TV and turns them off when I do volume up.

The tivo has discrete caption on/off. Muting and turning on the captions is easy. I can also turn off the captions when I hit ...

I loaded the software on a mac, and can now see the editor. I'll use that, but would love to know why I'm failing on the windows machine.

Can't open Icon Editor in RM - SOLVED

Hi,

I have RM v2.03 build 14 installed on a Win 10 laptop. When I double click the icon check box on the Functions tab of the Device Editor the check box becomes a small text entry box. I can't enter anything in that box, and it certainly doesn't appear to open an icon editor or a way to upload an ...

Thanks Rob.

Is the reason the learned buttons have different coding a protocol thing? Did you "re-invent" the coding? Just to satisfy my curiosity.

Need a few more buttons

I'm giving my brother a URC-9910 for christmas (he wants to put all his equipment in a closet). He has Adelphia cable with a motorola Moxi HD PVR box (BMC9012), i guess it was made in 2004-2005. I want to set the remote up for him b/c he is a electronics clutz, and if I don't it will sit in the box ...

OK, I've got it. Now I'm experimenting with the 1K extender and key moves instead of upgrades to clear space. for longpress and device specific macros

Thanks for the reply. My question is probably simple: How do "record" the keystrokes for the macros using IR? I'm going to want macros that do a few things at one time on one device, and macros that will cross devices. How do I go about doing that?

Beginners course on macros

Is there a topic/article/sticky on how to get started programming macros? That's a stupid question, of course there is. I just can't find it. The steps for creating macros don't seem to be in the beginner guides.

Closed Caption and Mute on one button

I'm sorry that I don't have all the details on this, but I want to satisfy my curiosity before delving to far into the details.

I have a Sony TV (I don't know the model) and I'd like to get one button CC1 on/off. Having read a few posts, that looks like it may not be possible.

Let's just assume ...
