As part of (1) I setup a timed macro. In the Image I can see the sequence. $1C $14 $0C $1D $15 $0D $1E $06 $0E, which relates to the macro of 1;2;3;4;5;6;7;8;9 I put in. These also appear to relate to the values in the buttons section of the RDF. However ...

At last - after months of hair pulling
About 9 months ago you all kindly helped me sort out problems with programming the URC8550.
One problem remained until now.
When loading data into IR (All versions), if I went to devices the button names would be corrupted (ie buttons would be named '(', ')', and 'T8')
I think I have sorted this ...

Simple (?) answer could be:
Buy a cheap (8Mb) USB Drive, and one of them small USB hubs about the size of a telephone adaptor. Plug your USB interface and Drive into the hub. Bind the whole lot together with some heatshrink tubing.
Voila! your all in one portable interface/toolkit - It may not look ...

I have found you only need to set up restrictions if the device you are defining is not using one of the built-in protocols, but is using a protocol you have pasted in from KM.

Is this me, or is it an RDF problem?
I am not sure if it is me doing something wrong or if there is a problem with the RDF file.
I am using RM 0.94 (just started using instead of KM) and latest RDF's to try and program an upgrade for my 8550.
