JP1 Remotes

Looks like some of the BJ4's work. I just got one off of ebay, soldered in the header, and it works like a champ. This BJ5 is going back to Best Buy.

FWIW I received my 'standard kit' and eeprom in a VERY timely manner. I think it was 3 days between when I paid and I got it in the mail, and I ordered it close to midnight

Same problem here. Brand new URC-9660/BJ5 from BB. I get the exact same error(s) as related in the first post of this thread. I am using a cable built from a 'standard kit' bought at jp1.filebug.com. The cable works flawlessley with my Cinema7.
