Thanks guys. I'll get working on the KM upgrade.

The VCR1340 code is also supposed to work with the Philips HDRW720 as an alternate to the DVD1818 code. That's why I had OFA download it. DVD0646 is supposed to work with a Pioneer DVR-810H-S that I own, but I haven't gotten around to trying the code ...

I just noticed the Sticky about how to post links to files on this forum. I have to get to work, so can't check if I got the link right right now, but here's the filename in the Diagnostics folder if needed:

Thanks Johnsfine and Robman. The piece I was missing was getting the protocol name and device number. Now I know I'll need some help with that. I guessed I could just enter the EFC numbers in KM after that.

I've uploaded a file DVD1818.zip to the diagnostics section. It hasn't shown up there yet ...

Timing coincidence. I'm a complete newbie with similar questions about the same PVR. I'm just at the point of learning how to upload/download codes to my remote (URC8910) using JP1.
