Sorry for the questions but what is an IR sender unit?

And how much are you selling your JP1 remote for? Does it come with a JP1 cable?

I got into JP1 several years ago and these have been replaced by other Jp1 compatible remotes. I have one ir sender unit as well. Anyone interested?

I own 3 9910's myself. I do not have one in front of me. I dont think that the pins are marked. I own 2 different kinds of JP1 cables and if you plug it in so that the cable drapes flat towards the bottom of the remote then you should be fine. The remote should be face down of course.

Thanks for the reply.. I did not try to key move any of the existing commands. I guess that i saw that the power and vol did nt work and moved on.. I will have to try to keymove using some of the available lcd .txt files .

I will have to admit that I am kinda weak in the file creation area when it comes to creating and transferring .txt files. I do not understand the process and I might be using the wrong terms. I mostly have been using .txt keymap ...

I can get started with teaching the 9910 the harmony commands and saving the config set in ir.exe. I was able to get the manual online. I bought this as a store demo and there was nothing included. If I do get my hands on the OEM remote. I will post it as well..
