I have tried several OBC codes above and below the used range of 62-76 with no success.

Not knowing RS232 vs IR codes, I had assumed that there would be equivalent IR codes for all given RS232 codes. They might be there, but I have not ...

Yeah I'll do the search. I just didn't know if someone already had a nifty utility to convert Ascii or understood the relationship.

Don't try random EFCs. Instead, look at the used OBCs on the Code List page. You will see the they are all in a tightly-bunched group of OBCs 62-76. I would start any Code Search in that area.

Ok random was a poor choice of words. I did exactly what you suggest, except I was looking around the ...

Well, I actually found an .m5 file on remote central to use with my MX500 remote. I need GE control from this remote anyway, so this solves my problem.

Yes, General Tab - Aux/Home/0597 is what I am using.
Also, check the Notes in the Upgrade to see if any of them apply to your unit:
What does that mean exactly? I am using a GE 3104, not any of the GRX A1-8 AFAIK???

Lutron Grafik Eye 3104 + Jp1

I just installed a Lutron Grafik Eye 3104 in the HT. I am using three of the four zones. I do not have the accessory remote, so I tried to program a RS 2116 with the standard GE codes from here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=2363

I use KM 9.x, set the remote to ...

ISO Emotiva LMC-1 Discrete on/off

I have created a new device code for the newly released Emotiva LMC-1 Pre-Amp here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=3389

I am trying to find any/all discrete codes for this device, exp. on/off.

So far I have tried all OBC from 0-125, still working my way up to 255 ...

OK, Sorry for the delayed reply, went away for Mem day weekend and just now getting back to this stuff.

Looks like Version 1 test works on my remote. Although the on/off cmds work on the VOL +/- keys not the CH +/- keys(Set keys on the Velo remote)

Version 2 test: Key moves do not work my TV at ...

If you tried to do the keymove using the version 2 RDF, repeat the process using the version 1 RDF.
Tried Version 1 and Key move, No go.

Do you also have a JP1 learning remote at your disposal? If so, could you learn the buttons from this remote and post the IR file.

Counting the two I bought from you last week... :) I have six.

I learned most (Partial due to memory limits) into a RS 2116 here
