Paul, this is deja vue all over again. I remember that several of the IR files you sent me when you were testing the extender wouldn't open either, but those happened because you made some changes to the RDF. I have no idea why these files are so odd. The upgrade area is really screwed up.

Ive been gone for a while and trying to catch up. Here is where I am so far (long time IR user).

- Downloaded IR 8.03
- Downloaded new RDF's
- Have JP1x cable

Issue: Needed a new remote because my old 1067 died. I had programmed the old one with IR. When trying to open the exisiting .IR file I get ...

When I open RM it messages that images are missing with a JAVA error.

Might be nice to make that if it does not find the image to simply have a normal message box come up.

The first time I used I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't run until I noticed there was an error dialog hiding behind the RM.

In your macro add a command to a button that does nothing. I had the same problem as you with TV startup and that solved it.

^^That's how i've always done it. I have an old Cinema7 that I keep around specifically to learn codes and then copy as necessary.

Is that the same as Atlas DVR (day)-1055

Yeah what ^ he said. Back a few years ago I did some work in the IR code and this funky "hex" relationship made me crazy.

I don't use RM, only KM.

The problem is that the receiver does not respond to any commands. I tried this upgrade on a 8910, 15-2216 and Cinema7 and it worked fine.

So I am at a loss at this time to understand why the 1067 doesn't like it.

I added a device upgrade (Sony 1758) to the 1067A. It will not work. I tried it both in regular and extended.

This upgrade works fine on my other remotes. Any ideas?

Are you asking about volume punch through?
