OK, for some reason I cannot seem to get my IE browser to open the yahoo files site (anyone else having this problem?)

So this is the device upgrade:
Upgrade Code 0 = 22 8E (Home Auto/0654)
DF 00 81 00 7F BF 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
End

and you have the protocol upgrade from above:

Honestly, the best way to learn about the IR signals you are interested in, is to buy a OFA8810w remote from Wal-Mart, and then, since money is tight, after you are complete done, return the 8810w to Wal-Mart.

Your replay remote does not have learning (I think) which is why you need the 8810w. Did ...

JP1 can do what you want. (see my next note)

You will need a JP1 cable.

JP1 cables can be bought for $14 which includes shipping and handling, from www.hovisdirect.com

You could make the cable from parts for about $5, but the diode and the 6 pin female connector I do not think are sold at radio ...

With the NEC1 2DEV protocol, on the functions page, in the byte2 column, you have to:
set 'byte2' =
'0' for device1,
'1' for device2

I would have thought the NEC1 2DEV combo would have worked. Can you post your KM.txt file to the diagnostic folder?

It is a protocol decodeir.dll has not seen yet, so we have to build a protocol for it.

Is there only 1 button on your light dimmer switch?

It looks like a lead in of 1688, -5100
It looks like a zero is 5064, -1724
It looks like a lead out of 5064, -110136

The meat of the signal looks like
000000 ...

substitute unknown functions for the known ones try them until maybe I find a cc function that works. Two ways to do this: (1) the way you describe, which is good if your computer is near your equipment. (2) Press the device button on the remote (like CBL) then start doing this (SET-EFC):
SET-0-0-0 ...

Re: POGO adapter - does it work well?

Rob is the expert, but I would suggest more solder and some hot glue.

while you are back there, if Rob thinks it is a good idea, and if you have one, put some hot glue on the transformer.

If you click on the "code list" tab in KM (thats the one on the far right at the bottom) you can see all the EFC codes that you have used, and all the EFC codes you need to try, before you give up. Note that in the upper left corner of this page you can sort the page by OBCs or EFCs.
