The search function in the File Section never found the file in the Device Upgrades section. I never thought to look there.

Thanks for moving it to the TV area.

e.axel, Could you put your final NEC version of the upgrade into the file section? There is one in the Diagnosis area, but not in the regular Device Upgrades section.

Re: RM won't load/run

Suddenly, RM (1.21) won't run  on my laptop where it has run fine through various versions for months. I've re-extracted/re-installed it but it still won't open. Here is what the rmaster.err file says  :

I've copied over all of the files from the Extenders folder to the new file section. I challenge everyone else to pick a folder and start copying and pasting. It's loads of fun.

You can't see that the mouse pointer is hovering over the tuner function, put you can see the hover help text, which clearly indicates that tuner has been assigned to the Com/skip button.

Note that the same hover help is displayed on the Buttons panel too.

This is definitely an improvement, but ...

There is already a modified version of the JVC 0034 protocol in the files section at Yahoo Groups. Here is a link to the protocol builder file.

Edit: I've also uploaded the file to the File Section of these forums.

I also have a 15-1994 remote with extender 5 and a JVC TV. My TV is about 8 years old. After switching to the extender, the macro playback was too fast for the TV to recognize. Another user had the same problem and wrote a replacement JVC protocol that repeated each IR signal three times. I made an ...

The IR 6.00 Release Candidate 3 is the latest version, but it has not been officially released by the author. The bugs seem to be minor so it is probably the best version to use right now. When you click on the html link, it will start the file download for you. The actual files are located on Rob's ...

RemoteMaster UI enhancement

Greg,

There is one thing I would love added to RemoteMaster. On the Layout tab, I'd like to be able to single click on one of the available functions and, if that function is assigned to a button, have RM make that the selected button on the remote picture. This way you can see what button has been ...

Satellite, TV, and UEI folders are done. I've also sent updated versions of the HDTV and Home Theater Systems folders. I forgot to include files with a RMDU extension.
