JP1 Remotes

Yay! It works. I will learn the few unmapped buttons manually as there will only be 10 or so making it not worth the hassle of searching for advanced EFC codes (which I still cant get working by the way, but no worries, it's 99% there without them).

OK will give it a go. I started doing this and after uploading the newly made WAV file to the remote nothing works, so I guess I did it wrong. I will try again now I have some step-by-step instructions.

OK, well I'm kinda glad it didnt work then, because my initial setup for my Technics audio device took a lot of customising with a JP1 cable a few years back, and I'll be stuffed if I can remember it now and I dont have a backup. I'll make do with the current config using advanced codes and keymoves ...

No, I am doing that, the red light comes on and flashes off then on for a sec, then stays off, like it doesnt accept the code. It doesnt really matter as I manually added all the advanced codes to buttons, but it would be good to know how to do it properly...

Now my next question is is there a tutorial for using RM/IR/IR2WAV to generate a nice upgrade that has the keymoves etc that I made using RM?

OK, thanks for the tip about advanced codes. I tried it before leaving for work this morning and found that code 4/180 is the setup menu which is a major accomplishment, now I can tune it and set up the main features, etc.
