Is it possible that there are no remotes possible? In all cases, going into an infinite loop is of course not acceptable. Can you give me more details, so that I can try to reproduce? Please turn on Options -> Verbose.
Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure, where should the remotes be? In WinLIRC, I ...

I know this is a very old post, but maybe my efforts will help someone?
I was able to get all my old parallel JP1 stuff up and running on my Windows 7 x64 PC. The key is VMWare Player. It's a free program. I'm running XP 32-bit as a guest in VMWare and it allows the guest OS access to the parallel ...

IR to hard-wired
I have an aftermarket Pioneer car stereo with IR remote capability.
My car has steering wheel controls.
Most newer car stereos have a remote input jack that accepts specific resistances to trigger the various basic functions like tuner up/down, volume up/down, mute, etc. Aftermarket companies such ...

Protocol for Pioneer remote, some buttons 2-codes, some 1
I'm trying to make a KM file for a Pioneer navigation remote CXB7426. All buttons transmit codes for device 173. However, some buttons transmit double codes. The ones that transmit double codes will send a code for device 173 with OBC fixed to 151 and after that will send a code of 175 with ...

Microsoft Media Center Remote w/JP1?
Does there exist an MCE remote with JP1?
I like the basic Media Center remotes, only thing is I want macros to turn on my TV, receiver, etc. Right now I have a URC-6131 controlling MCE which is fine and was perfect for Tivo, but now I use MCE and I like the layout of the MCE remote better for MCE.

Yeah, I might just have to break down and drop $50+ on a remote, although all I need it for is to activate the composite output and enter service mode. :(
I'm almost positive it's going to be a Pioneer protocol. I'm aware of the 2-part signal, but if it's like Pioneer's car stereos, several of the ...

Sequential remote code transmitter w/MS eHome receiver?
I'd like to try to determine what device codes and OBC's a device will respond to without the luxury of having the original remote for it. Here's a post about my search.
