JP1 Remotes

has anyone successfully made one yet?

Also, how can i tell myself if it is a jp1 remote? I mean it doesnt really say anywhere, is there a db of all remotes? or.. something else ...

I need some cable too. Only problem is i live in UK. Soo the question is how can i get hold of some without paying extortionate amounts.

Is there an article anywhere to build some Jp1 cable?
