Web page of programming the INT 422-4
I have been using my INT 422-4 remotes for a while and (like an anal retired engineer) decided to document what I learned and what I did. This way when I get another device, or want to add a feature, my elderly brain will have this page to recall the actions required. The web page is a bit lengthy ...

Update JPG and MAP file
I uploaded a new zip file with the existing RDF, but an updated JPG of this model and a MAP file to match. The functionality of the RDF is unchanged, but I added "generic names" to the Button names for completeness. As noted before all this is really just cosmetic. But after working with the RM ...

It had never occurred to me that someone didn't know what a keymove was, but I guess everybody has to start somewhere. Actually I have noticed several beginner posts which appear to me as demonstrating not understanding keymoves. But then from my technical training background I always suspect many ...

RMIR Key Move - What it is and how to create it
After much reading and testing my understanding of a Key Move within RMIR is as follows. I hope this description is helpful to other beginners using RMIR.
[Note that "manual programming" of a key move is a different topic. For its basic instructions see: http://www.hifi-remote.com/wiki/index.php ...

You "hit the nail on the head", Rob, thank you.
I did know "something" about a keymove , but I did not truly understand what it did nor how to enter it in RMIR. To me most of the reading about it did not make clear to me what I feel are their critical concepts. However, by doing testing along with ...

JP1.4 Extender?
Most posts I have found on this site as far back as 2012 indicate that there is no extender for a remote with JP1.4 Interface due to the (new?) way it stores its data internally? Is that still correct?
I now have a new Inteset INT-422-4 remote (six pin JP1) which announces itself as having a JP1.4 ...

Updated RDF
After working with RMIR for a while with Rob's "starter" files, I have updated the RDF, JPG, and MAP files to better match with this new JP1.4 Interface remote. ZIP with all three files is in the Diagnosis Area:

INT-422-4 macros on device mode keys
My simplified configuration
INT-422-4 remote. LG TV on device mode key A, DVR+ on device mode key B.
I'm a beginner but I can use either EFC Keypad commands, or JP1 RMDU/RMIR
For JP1 testing I am using the following files from this site:
- 370201 (Inteset INT-422-4).rdf
- LG TV OLED65E6V.rmdu ...

Macros on all INT422-4 keys but setup
As a result of further research in the Intelset Technical Programming Document I want to correct a previous mis-statement I made:
As for the A/B/C/D buttons I have read of some indication that those specific buttons have some limitations It appears these limitations were true in model INT422-2 ...
