JP1 Remotes

well, it seems to be discrete signals in the remote. i.e.: if i hit the input key three times, it goes: vcr1, vcr2, dvd. if i hit it twice then delay for a second or two, it goes vcr1, vcr2, then back to vcr1. so it resets to vcr1 signal if it doesn't send a subsequent signal in x amount of time. so ...

hmm, are you suggesting that i have the rekote learn the succesive key presses onto the same key? wouldnt that just overwrite previous learned signals?

yes, that is indeed the case. lets say i am on vcr1, and with the original remote, i press the video select key, i then go to vcr2, etc. so i trained the signal into the new remote, and, if i am on some other video source, the learned key takes me to vcr1, but if i am on vcr1 already, subsequent key ...

thanks rob. basically, i have already reconstructed the d base on the 2116. as for the 0522 code, i had had it assigned to the aux key and not the dvd key in the 2104. (i already have my apex dvd player assigned to the dvd button in the 2116.) i cant remember just how to go about that in km. can i ...
