JP1 Remotes

I have a black JP1.3 URC-1056B01 universal remote from a cable company.
Want to do a RESET, but can not get the SETUP light to blink by holding it.
Also ONLY the CABLE button lights up when pushed.....jumps to light up the TV button.....then jumps back to CABLE and that is it.
Is this remote dead or ...

So can not have a bold & blue link.
the blue & underline link is visible enough

yes, there is Coolsat 8000 file in FILES, 2007-Apr-29.....however it is partial, some important functions are missing.

This SAT box also a Digital TV Receiver, and there is a button to switch between SAT - TV. Already scanned about 20 local over the air HDTV channels.....just can not watch them ...

yes, I am using an equivalent of a TSOP 1838, 38 khz
going to change input to pin #5.....(move 1 wire (unplug/plugin)
going to do IrScrutinizer select "Sending hw" -> Girs Client > Use receive for capture

Installing your "Infrared" library in Arduino made a big difference.
In Scrutinizer .....Scrutinize signal....now I can capture !

Yes, I loaded the file from File section, then manually entered 2, 249 ....because this is what came as an the actual output for the Power button.....using an Arduino to receive...from an original working remote.
