The MCE protocol does not generate a protocol upgrade for the URC 8820 as far as I can see. The original file is for URC-9800 / 8800 with manual settings. It does create extra procol code.

X_CBL by X_TV and none of the macros worked.

Nils I've done that. Nothing happens. (I realy dont know what to look for)
I don't see any activity on the remote if that is what you want to know.

I have done all of the upgrades trough remotemaster. Again all of the keypad buttons in all devices work all right, but there is still no macro activity.

I tried something else. I uploaded the virgin extender file and added only one upgrade (Phillips TV) Then I tried on the TV: M_TV;C_TV;V_TV;T_TV;O_TV;X_TV;0

This looks right to me. I tried it but unfortunatly there was no respons when I hit the DVD button.
I can however use the DVD buttons but the audio buttons function on the receiver dont work.
I then perfomed a 981 reset and reloaded the extender.
