Your right. If you select Unit=2, KM Master v8.25 sets the first byte of fixed data to 80 and v8.28 sets it to 40. (In v8.28 if you set unit= 0 or 1 the first byte of fixed data is 00)

This is the best device upgrade for both but you must create two upgrades. Unit code=Remote address. Change Unit=2 for the 721 (unit=1 for the 301), the remote to the 2116, and give one of the upgrades a different setup code like 1776.
