Hi Bill,
As far as I know the Dream button was always on the left and the TV on the right. There are slight differences like the "Exit" button named "Lame" on the early versions and also in the V2 - V4 map images but otherwise the the remotes V1-V4 look exactly the same.
The RDF file is the same ...

New files for 10691069 (Dreambox V5 URC-39940 R01) Remote
Hi,
I've just uploaded a new version of the Dreambox V5 RDF file including Image and Map files (I used the image created by Alain Berguerand from here - thanx Alain).
Please also replace the RDF file found here with the new-one in the ZIP - the name in the old file was with underscores and RM ...

X10 - RF protocol for Powermid or RF remotes
I've managed to create an upgrade file to control X10 devices with a normal RF remote. It also works with the Powermid. The file could be downloaded here .
The only drawback is that you can control only 8 devices simultaneously. However by using custom NEC protocol (such as $11a or $141) with two ...

I've uploaded it in the "Diagnosis Area" here...
I am not sure which processor is inside. I already opened the remote, but there is no label on the chip.
Thanx!

URC 11-4282 B00 - no suitable RDF file.
Hi!
Can somebody help me to create a RDF file for my new URC 11-4282 B00 remote.
The remote has a JP1 connector, and I can connect and read the eeprom. However there is not (yet) a RDF profile for this kind of remotes. I tried almost every RDF file, but nothing seems to be compatible.

Thank you for your replies but IR543 will not work in europe (you know 220V)...
I think I found the proper (rather expensive) european module: IR7243 . It doesn't look the same but does exactly the same job - converts IR signals directly into X10. It should be compatible with Philips Pronto remotes ...

Controlling X10 with RF signals
Hi there.
I am looking for a JP1 Remote able to control my X10 equipment with RF signals - not IR. I already have a TM13 tranceiver (european version).
Do you think that RS 15-2117 will do the job?
