Keymove Update
I was able to create a keymove and now the remote blinks the dvd device light when i press thee OK/Select button, but the dvd player doesn't react. I learned that signal and it came back with **Multiple** in the protocol field and rest blanks.

Thanks Rob and Vicky. I'm not going to edit RDF unless an expert gives guidance. My suspicion of RDF is based on the OK/Select button channel lock (seems odd to me but Vicky says not uncommon), Learning tab and learning memory values on non-learning remote, and what appears to be spurious text on ...

CBL Channel Control Lock
I am working with device upgrades for an Atlas OCAP 1056 Silver. I assigned a DVD function to the OK/Select Button, when checking the upgrade found that pressing this button, the remote sent the CBL function instead of the DVD function. Turning off the CBL Channel Control Lock solved the issue with ...

Update
It apnpears my origal remote send different commands for certain keys after different sources are selected. When carefully selecting the source the function I was trying to make work turned out to be a NEC1 command. I added it to my original upgrade and it works. So as of now I can do what I need ...

Ok I just built a simple two function upgrade. I was able to get the NEC1 function to work by plugging in OBC into OBC1 and making OBC2 = 255 - OBC.
The NEC1-F16 Function I tried (see line 3 of my copy and paste above) didn' work. I used 9 as OBC2 and tried OBC1 as the default 0 and as 246. Neither ...

Combining Protocols
I was building an Onkyo AV Receiver Upgrade from 2 downloaded Device. These functions were all NEC1 Device 210 Sub-Device 108 or 109. This upgrade worked using NEC1 Protocol. However a few functions were missing. Learning from original remote showed most of these functions were NEC1-116 Device Code ...

Update
I reviewed some of Tommy Tyler's documents for buildingng EEPROM interface Cables. According to his description my memory proved better than I thought. To doublechecked my interpretation of his description of pin 1, I checked continuity of pin 3 to battery - in battery compartment. ( The other ...

JP1.2/3 to JP1 Adapter
I finally got my adapter, but pin 1 was was not identified. This presents 2 issues:
1- First, I don't remember how to identify pin 1 on my JP1 remotes (8810 and 8811). I seem to remember it was lowe left when the remote is held with the JP1 coonector down from the battery compartment. However, bad ...

Some success
I have successfully learned a command from my Harmony remote. It shows that the Protocol is NEC2 and the OBC is 1189 for the OK/Select Function.
