Do I need to enter the information into KM for SET ONCE

I have the following info in the SET ONCE WHEN KEY IS PRESSED(this type of info is in this field for most of the keys)

Do I need to enetr this info or should I just try the protocol info.

Protocol ASYNC5.444

I have used my 8060 to learn new codes and the Protocol shows a SONY 20 protocol and a ASYNC.444. I want to put this information into KM. Am I correct in assuming that the ASYNC.444 is an error and all I should need is the information in the SONY 20 protocol.

Sorry about the spelling of Factory, The wife was getting fed up with me yesterday playing with the remote so I had to carry on with it when she went to bed. The last post was written at around 2 AM UK time so I was rather tired.

It was after I reset the remote. I have only stared to play with the remote today as I have only just built the interface cable.
Looks like the problem was that ir.exe did not want me to save the file in the same folder as IR.exe. I made a seperate folde on my desk top and IR.EXE let me save it ...

OK Guys sorted it. I ran a full factory reset Rabbit out the hat and code .

LIST INDEX OUT OF BOUNDS when trying to save .IR

I have downloaded from my 8060 using IR.EXE. When i try to save the file I have downloaded i get the above message any ideas.

using Ver5.12 and windows XP with NTFS file system.

I was able to uplaod and download to the remote ok but unable to save the file

8060 not working correctly after download

I ahve been uploading and downloading to my 8060 today without any issues. However my last download from the 8060 showed the following message

"NO data found in signature this indicates the interface is not working correctly(unless you have manually cleared the signature bytes"

That explains it.

I assumed it was a serial interface. That could have been a right Shambles. I am an electronics engineer as well. (What do you mean not a very good one)

I will now build One and repost.

I want to make a JP1 cable for my OFA 8060 but my computer has the 9 pin D serial connector. I know I could buy a converter but as I am making the cable from scratch it may as well be made witha 9 Pun D. Does any one have the instructions or could help me with the alternative connections for a 9 Pin ...
