S3C8 ASM expert question on modifing RAM
Hello.
I'm an IT guy...trying to remember my assembler...its been AWHILE for me.
I'm tinkering with some custom extender logic, and wasn't sure about
how to modify the ram within the code.
so, the way I understand it...the protocol code is copied from EEPROM
into RAM at address FF00 (for a 15-2116 ...

virtual devices
Hello all.
So I have an 15-2116 (w/o extender).
I understand it has 8 device buttons and another 7 virtual.
I can program the setup codes for the 15 devices in ir.exe
and use the special protocol "device selector"...which seems to load
the device index (0-14) into R77 (which from looking at the ...

key moves question with 15-2116
I have a question about the key move in IR.exe
using an 15-2116 remote
I'm in V8.04 and I mapped my cable box to CBL
and assigned my TV to DB14 = 0017
my goal was to map the power and vol+- from Db14 over to CBL
(as my dta box is always on).

Just one last Q.
I understand the concept...and I can assign a different code in the general area for db-14. I figured out that much :)
BUT when I try to assign a macro to shift-DVD...
the db-09 thru db-14 are NOT listed: just the phantom buttons.

shifted devices on a 15-2116 ??
Hello JP1 newbe here.
I read that the 15-2116 can control 15 devices even though it only has 8 physical device keys.
I wanted to know...if I can define shift-DVD to a different 4 digit device code. Then...(assuming no keymoves)...
DVD would be dvd1
and shift-DVD would be dvd2 (and I wouldn't have ...
