Looks like you could get a B2 here, albeit used.

The B1, like the B2, does not support keymoves. It also has less memory for upgrades IIRC.

I think the B1 RDF could likely use some improvement in any event (already have one). I bought a new one only because the battery cover rattles in my existing remote, which is annoying, and the new one ended up being the B2.

I think the 2025 has about just the right number of buttons.

I have not tried using the function button in its own mode. I can't imagine I would ever use it that way personally. I can give that a shot sometime this week.

I also haven't tried keymoves from RMIR. I am a bit shy about making manual edits to the RDF. Perhaps at some point later.

As for the 981 reset, it seems that UEI is making a factory reset more difficult. I have been creating an RDF for the URC-7145, a new remote that has the same processor and same basic structure of its setup data as does this new URC-2025. Looks like setup is phantom 9.

Remote won't take a macro on the setup button. I get a long blink at step 3.

Let me take a crack at putting a macro on setup.

Confirmed. Holding down setup + A returns Cable to 1376 (tested using 990 blink back).

They are certainly all programmed in the remote. After I downloaded the .rmir file, I did a code blink back for each device to confirm. Not sure what else to try.
