For some reason the Learning function started to work. I did do several OFA commands [980, 981, 982]. Maybe one of the resets kick started it :) Thanks anyway for your suggestions.

Thanks for the input. This OARUSB04G has a Learn key. I have tried learning several keys form several different source remotes and to different keys on the OARUSB04G but no joy. No flashes; not three, two or one. I did try to use the OFA command 975 but no joy there either.

I got it to work. My 6800 was acting up a bit, but after I reset it and loaded the upgrade back into the remote, it worked fine. Thanks for the guidance and help. Next time, I will use links and the correct terminology. Thanks for your help!

BTW, I deleted the learned keys before I wrote the data [with the upgrade] back to the remote and tested.

Free-to-Air (FTA) Protocol Attempt

Need help finding out what I am doing wrong. I am trying to add a new protocol. It's a Free-to-Air (FTA) satillite receiver. I have learned the codes and tried to build a protocol using KM [with no luck]. Looks like there is something I'm missing. Looks to me like a straight NEC1, but the learned ...

Familiar

This new forum looks familiar to the free web site forum software Snitz @ http://forum.snitz.com/. If so, it has email and web options.

EDITED...My bad... I see the phpBB link below. Anyway, you might want to check out Snitz. It appears to have additional features.

Just use the Back button on your browser.
I know that...but a cancel button is cleaner. There are alway ways to get where you're going.
