JP1 Remotes

Ok..I have loaded the 2117 extender 2 and setup most of my devices either with factory configs or loaded from remotemaster if the control had "updates" available...the one thing I'm having trouble figuring out is this...I have two tv's...the first uses code 0047.....I would like to do a keymove to ...

I re-downloaded a fresh copy of keymaster and now excel loads it correctly however with 8.26 version it tells me the analysis tookpak is either not loaded or not compatible with my version (It's installed in excel 97) so do I need to run an earlier version?

I downloaded a pioneer RDMU.....I put it in the upgrades folder..I selected that folder..chose open...the folder shows up as empty even though the RDMU and several RDF's are in there. Only thing to do at that point is cancel.

Ok..first I run several java apps such as azareus so I know java works fine...when I run remotemaster I get a message "No RDF's found" and a panel to go to a folder...I have a folder with both several .RDF files and a RDMU file...but none of them ever show up in the filelist...clicking cancel causes ...

I have excel 97 installed...when I try to open keymaster...excel just closes..no error messages....any thoughts?

I'm waiting on my JP1 cable to arrive before I play around with JP1. So far though I have not been able to get either keymaster or remotemaster to work. Answering my own question..I "learned" all the features of my PS2 remote and it's working fine...probably used more memory then I would have liked.

Answering my own question..I recorded the power from the old remote using the learn feature instead of a keymove..problem solved....two tv's and replay can be controlled from both of them.
