For others with this Inteset 422-2: On this remote there are no hard labeled devices, instead there are A, B, C, and D. To activate the extender Press device A, then long press OK.

Inteset 422-2 activate extender

I have a Inteset 422-2 remote and a JP1 cable. I have installed the Common JP1.3 extender version 3.05 into a rmir file and uploaded it into the remote. The readme instructions say the following about activation:

The keymove to activate is on the TV/OK key (not visible to RMIR). To activate, press ...

Chances that this isn't MCE protocol like all other HP MCE receivers are very low. I think you'd get better results with that protocol rather than this bastardized RC5.

This is where my newbie status kicks in, I didn't know about the MCE protocol. The reason I went this route is because I have ...

Thanks for taking a look!

When you transfer the functions you are losing the device settings. On the functions tab, the device is defaulting to :
28,OBC<64
You need to change that to:
30,OBC<64
Just double-click in the device column on the functions page, and you will be able to select the desired ...

Help transferring learns to an rmdu file

I have an Int-422-2, and I am trying to set it for use with my HTPC running Kodi. My IR receiver is an HP OVU400102/00 Media Center IR USB. I have two remotes that work out of the box with this receiver, the SageTV HD100 and the Hauppauge 45 key remote, both of which have upgrades available her on ...

Moving devices to different button assignments

I have an Inteset 422-2 and a JP1 cable. I have assigned my devices to the standard A, B, C, and D buttons. I have decided it would make my macros easier if I had assigned devices B, C, and D to Dev3, 7, and 8 instead. Is there an easy way to move the devices in RMIR or do I need to revert to my ...

I just got a 422-2, is there anyway you can share the extender you are working on for that one?

I would be interested in that upgrade if you post it, I have a Vizio E55-C1 that I bet uses the same remote codes.
