JP1 Remotes

Didn't make an upgrade and don't have a file to post as I would need to dig out an old PC with a serial port... Sorry.

Just a thought, I just recently bought a Sony TV that has a weird remote. Out of the box it is IR, but once it is "paired" to the TV, it is RF (bluetooth I believe). If yours works like this, try "unpairing" the original remote, then learning the codes. I'd paired the remote at some point midway ...
