Toshiba TV's all use pretty much the same IR signals, unless I missed something very special about "HM". I found HX examples (and all sorts of other examples) but not HM nor HMX. Have you seen anything for HDMI inputs? Since I don't have the TV yet I can't comment on what else would be different ...

Given that we know what the danger code is, ie,the one that will reset your TV and make things generally unpleasant, you can avoid that EFC and run through all the others I get you. I suppose it's worth a shot but considering it hasn't been available in the previous lines as an EFC I'm not holding ...

Robman, Thanks for the response. Unfortunately Toshiba likes to change the address of the register that controls the grey bars. It would be nice if they would just put something like this in the user menu or provide an EFC for it. The problem can be overcome if using a STB but it would be nice to be ...

Okay, I've validated the 014 code still works for the register menu (ADDR) but unfortunately the register value for changing the grey bars to black is different. :( Thanks anyway.

Anyone know where I can find two of these remotes? My URC-7800's (which both my wife and I LOVE) are dying. Buttons
Radio Shack discontinued these and they may be hard to find. I went to three different RS's in my area and bought the few they had remaining and gave them as Christmas gifts.

I don't know if this is the right forum but I received an e-mail from Buy.com that the Sony RM-AV3100 18 device universal remote is on sale for $98.99.

The FAV key is the first key above the sliding cover (i.e. F1). Although it allows me to program it when I download it to IR there is nothing showing in the macro area.

Okay, I finally got the FAV key to program but when I download to IR the macro doesn't show up. If I learn the key to my 15-2116 or 15-2117 it only shows the EFC codes. Any other ideas to validate the keymap?

See page 34 of the user's guide. If you don't have yours, see http://support.radioshack.com/support_video/doc70/70182.pdf I'm really confused now. I have the Navigator URC-44CXXXB02 remote. There are only 3 possible keys to create a macro (labeled fav, ppv, and all on). I tried using setup 995 and ...

I'm simply trying to confirm that the problem is with the key numbers assigned to the buttons in the RDF, as opposed to an error in the keymap. If you assign a function via an upgrade that does not generate a keymove, then it's being done through the keymap. The method I described using a macro ...

Are you sure we're referring to the same keys? The "arrow" versions are triangular shaped buttons just above the normal arrow key set, while the PG+/- keys are the ones under the sliding cover. Yes, I am sure of the proper keys.

Before we can determine if you are correct, we need to eliminate ...

After just a quick look, you may be correct. KM lists page up=$2B, and page down=$2C for both models, supporting what you're saying. The B02 RDF seems incorrect, and yes it can be edited with notepad. More importantly, Nils or somebody will need to be sure to update the official RDF files so that ...
