Thanks for fixing it so quickly. I can confirm that it works for me as well.

Sorry, I didn't see that file section. I've uploaded my problem IR file there and corrected the link in my previous post.

Here's the new link as well:

Cool, thanks! It looks like it's throwing an exception while processing the keymoves:

I have an IR file that won't open in RMIR. I've tried re-saving it in IR 8.03 and I've tried opening it in RMIR 2.01 and 2.02 alpha. RMIR doesn't give any errors; the file just doesn't open. Is there a debug log somewhere?

The IR file can be downloaded from here , if you want to play with it. It's ...

Cool! I tested several commands and they all seem to work just as well as the learned commands! :D I'll do some more testing over the next few days.

I'm interested in what the differences are between this protocol and the previous one.

Thanks!

I haven't given up on getting this working yet

Good news...
The reseller that I bought my projector from sent me a URC-8811 which he taught several ECP commands to. I have tested it with my projector and all the commands work perfectly, so hopefully we can use it to develop a working ...

I tried redoing all the OBCs according to your directions and the minimum number of repeats listed in the service manual.

Power toggle still works well. It actually doesn't work every time, but it usually works. Other buttons still require several presses or holding the button down. Arrow buttons ...

Power toggle seems to work perfectly - worked on the first try both times I tried it. Brightness and contrast still require several presses or holding the button down. Arrows don't work at all.

I tried to use Digitrace to grab the output from the wired remote by connecting it to my parallel port ...

Those work about the same as the previous ones, maybe slightly less reliably. They both work. The high frequency one works better. It still takes several presses for commands to be recognised.

I might try to use Digitrace to capture some output from the wired remote sometime in the next few days.

The high frequency version works much better than the low frequency version. The power toggle generally works first time, but the other buttons still take several presses before they work.

I tried new batteries and it didn't help.

I just tried the new low frequency frame-adjusted protocol. It works, but much more unreliably than the duty-cycle-adjusted high frequency version. It only works when the remote is about a foot away from the sensor after several presses. I'm fairly sure now ...

With the buttons set to repeat 4 times, tapping requires several taps before it works. Holding down the button seems to make it work faster, but there is still a delay - the command still has to be repeated several times before it is recognised.

With the buttons set to repeat 22 times they always ...

Ok, tried the new 50% duty cycle protocol. It works, but it is still unreliable. If I repeatedly press the brightness button, for example, it will work every 2 to 12 presses - 5 presses seems to be the most common.

Cool! I didn't think there would be anything to test so soon!

I just tried both the 42kHz and the 336kHz variations. They both work. The 336kHz version seems to work quite a bit better than the 42kHz version. Neither of them work very well though.

I tested power toggle (POWER), discrete power on ...

I currently control the projector using the built-in wired remote. I do not have the OEM remote or any learning remotes, but I do have a modified 6131 with a JP1 cable. A digital storage oscilloscope would be useful, but I don't have one of those either (yet ;) ). I have a UIRT2 IR transceiver ...
