Right; I've hacked up the RC-5 executor so it works. It's not the nicest custom protocol ever, but I couldn't see this being usable for anything else even if I did a better job of it.

RC-5 alternating device?
I am attempting to sort out a device upgrade for a Philips CD Changer/CDR (a CDR 785). The device uses dev20 and dev26. Certain keys are always dev20 (Change to CD1, 2, 3); Certain keys are always dev26 (Change to CDR, Power, Brightness, etc). These work fine, obviously.

Re: learning APP or help creating remote
question I have a ir receiver to usb, I think its a old Microsoft media centre ir receiver. I also have a htc one m8. Can I not learn my satellite remote with any of the above or is there a easier way to create a remote from my Slingbox pro HD.

That S3F80 Executor doesn't work, and I can't figure out why. The LED on the reciever lights up, but it doesn't do anything. Thanks for having a go anyway.
Nevertheless, I had a go at writing a HCS08 executor, cos it looked a lot simpler to do than I thought it was. This one works properly, but as ...

Interesting. Most peculiar is the modulation frequency, 75.7kHz! I do not think any such has been seen before; the ones we know are 30-56kHz (with the exception of the 455kHz ones in B&O etc). That also explains why your learning remotes failed.

TXC/Ross Sega Gamepad protocol (executor help please?)
The Ross Micro Genius RCG-200 (TXC) is a wireless Controller/Receiver pair for the Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis. I have one, but only one controller (the reciever supports two players/controllers simultaneously).

Re: Ir serial receiver not working using winlirc
To put it differently --with ir receiver inserted to serial connection or not inserted device manager reports the exact same details!
That is correct behavior - these LIRC style serial IR recievers are totally dumb, and will never appear in device manager; the same as most serial devices that are ...

Yep, another UK Pay TV provider uses UEI for their remote control!
Here's the official documentation and code list; this remote is a V2.
