Thank you for your reply Robman.

Sorry about the link.

Is the URC-8820 JP1 compatible?
If so, is there an Extender for it?

Thanks

Hi Robman and Capn Trips, thanks for your replies.
I've just uploaded the Cable Box file with learned codes as "TechnoTrend TT-micro C271"

I've tried to make a macro for discrete OFF (Ch+ Power) but I had to put a long delay time between them because there was no response from the Cable Box, so I ...

Thank you for your reply Robman.
I thought you have to try all 256 codes. I didn't know there wee only 30.
What about trying the codes directly with the remote.
What macro can I use for Discrete OFF.

Thanks in advance

Thank you for your reply Robman.
I was trying to find the discrete ON/OFF codes with KM, but when I put the OBC codes that are not used by the remote, the HEX codes don't change, they are the same as the first OBC numbers (001, 002, 003 ...etc.)
Any sugestions?
Is there any way to try the codes ...

Discrete code for Video 1/ Video 2 Sony TV

Hi:
I have an old Sony TV model KV 2144SRP. It works fine with my URC 8910 with code 0000. I've tried to use discrete codes for Video 1 Video 2 (EFC 034, 030) but they don't work (TV-SET-034, TV-SET-030). The discrete Power ON OFF don't work either. Are there any discrete codes for Video 1 - Video 2 ...

Ok. I found the problem. I forgot that I had to learn the POWER key for my cable box in the unextended version. In the extended version I have made a keymove for POWER and now works fine.

I will delete the files in the Diagnosis Area

Problem with Power in my cable box

Hi:
Ok, now the link goes directly to the file.
I have an 8910 and I'm using it with the extender.
My Scientific Atlanta cable box goes ON when I press Ch+, Ch- or any number. When I press Power it goes OFF. In the unextended mode works fine but in my extendeded routine it neither goes OFF or ON ...

Thanks Greg:

The pause protocol worked fine.
Interesting your suggestion for not including power OFF for VCR and DVD-R in the ALL POWER OFF Macro.

Long Pause without Extender

Hi:
I have a Sony TV and I´ve made a macro to turn ON TV and turn ON DVD and set the Video mode on TV to Video 4 (which is where my DVD is connected) using the discrete code 029.
The problem is that the TV is slow to be completely ON and the discrete instruction does not work until there is image on ...
