Good news - thank you for letting us know it worked...

I'm also using the special IR blaster cable that plugs directly into the mini-box from the Replay unit.
I don't understand this, sorry - is this some sort of direct communication cable using a serial/usb port or something else?

I finally just rebooted the replay and then it was able to detect video signal using my original set up. Any ideas?

Not really, sorry - I don't have any experience of using or physically configuring Replay TV units, I just made the "RID" file according to the instructions.

It would generally seem to me, though, that "Could not detect video signal" errors due to changing input cables around don't ...

There are 50 functions in the rmdu file, so I assigned what I thought was a reasonable selection to the available buttons.
You might want to alter the button layout ...

That guide assumes you are using IR - you are using rmir, but you can follow basically the same steps.
 

Ok, first of all - Harmony does not have the Nortek Media Player HDBOX R1 HDMI (in fact it doesn't have anything for manufacturer Nortek) :cry:

Okay, is it possible to import the pre-configured remote skin of slingplayer. Their Skin looked exactly the same like the original rc.
I don't know - sorry - I'm not actually a Sling user, so I'm not up to speed on customisations like that.

Ok - I learnt this device from a download from the Harmony database for Insight-DCI1041CS .
It decodes as XMP-1, Device 62, SubDevice 16

The protocol help for XMP says:
If the commands also include a Final Frame, check the Final Frame Toggle checkbox. - and there does appear to be a final frame ...

On further examination, the Atlas, Comcast, 15-100 and 15-13x do have the appropriate pauseParams in the RDF's.
The RCA RCRP05b and the Insignia (not released) don't.
V1.01 of the RCA and the Insignia release will fix this

To avoid guessing about model after model, here's how to figure it out on your own. THIS post at the beginning of this thread lists the device codes required and some remotes to avoid. So find a One-For-All on the One-For-All UK site, look in the manual to confirm it has either of the 2 codes ...
