Confirmed that by adding Segment 02 allows RMIR to program macros on F1 and F2 (Home and Delete) on Version 1 of the remote.
In HamburgerHelper1's rmir https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=26492 only the first entry in the Global Punchthru works on my remote. This is ...

Is it possible to make this Device Upgrade work with the Champion Plus 2125? It is giving the Manual Settings not compatible error.

Re: RDF needed for possible new URC 2056-ISX version
Try a 981 reset. I think I had the same problem with the Power macro and I think this solved it. I had some other glitches that seemed to be resolved by 981 also. I think there is cable company programming that interferes with RMIR programming.HamburgerHelper1 wrote:RMIR has no effect on the multi macro buttons.

I have used a work around (in Windows 10) by adjusting the scale factor in the shortcut and that avoids having to rerun setup. Several shortcuts with different scale factors could be made if desired. Different flavors/versions of Java might have different results as mentioned by Barf.

Making duplicate rdf, jpg, and map files for a remote
There are 2 versions (at least) of the URC-2125 that have several of the same buttons in different locations between the two remotes. I am trying to make copies of the rfd, jpg, and map files and renaming them as a starting point but am not having success. The layout tab in RMDU shows a map with the ...

Guidance on modding URC 6251 Remote & 6252 Dongle for JP
I would like to try to mod the URC 6251 Remote & 6252 Dongle for JP1. We have an rdf for the URC 6250 (URC-6250BC0 Bell Fibe) that is the IR only version of the URC 6251 remote. I'm guessing someone modded it to work with RMIR and guessing it will be similar to the two I would like to mod. If it is ...

I was able to get the Flirc to control the mouse with Windows native Mouse Keys and accomplish what I wanted. I uploaded an upgrade (rmdu), Flirc config, and some support information here . The FLIRC now can learn macros and long keypresses, so one could probably do most keyboard function through a ...

I do have a small keyboard w/ touchpad that works well for general PC use. I used to have an IO Gear mini keyboard with track ball that I loved but I think the USB receiver died and it doesn't work anymore. I have a android soft remote that I use in the bedroom. I recently tried out many of them ...

Thank you for helping me out with this so I didn't waste any time on the Inteset dongle. I'll see what the FLIRC can do and report back if it can do any mouse movement. I don't need full QWERTY but might need some CTRL or SHIFT + key to accomplish what I'm trying to do. I'll look into the ehome IR ...

Customizing PC control with Inteset IR dongle
l have connected an Inteset IR dongle to a PC and it shows up in Win10 Device Manager as hid-compliant consumer control device and hid Keyboard Device.
