I'd like to add my thanks to Rob and all those that have contributed over the years. I came here today to possibly send a link and recommendations to a friend that could benefit. So it is a disappointment to see this wonderful resource disappear.
Fortunately, I have collected enough 3660's (6) and ...

You are correct that most Roku TVs make use of their own brand code. There are a lot of after market replacement Roku remotes and they always specify that they are for a specific brand TV and are not for use on Roku branded STBs.

Thanks, Rob. The setup code I'm using is 3061. My RMDU is a slightly modified version of Roku (official).rmdu. I believe the only modification was to add a function code for ESPN.

Repeated button press speed
This question is based on programming of an ONN equivalent of the 3660. I am using these with multiple TV/Roku combinations. Something that has been frustrating with the Roku is with repeated FF or Rwd button presses.

ONN 100112176 Streaming Remote from Walmart
I'm curious if anybody investigated this simple remote for possible JP1. Since Walmart is selling at least one JP1 remote under the ONN brand, it seemed possible. If nobody has checked, I might go ahead and order one. $7.88 online. Not much of a risk.

No. I did own an early HD TiVo but that was years ago and was scrapped. The more recent TiVo and Minis were provided by the cable company (Mediacom) as part of our service. I found out after we had returned everything, that they are dropping the TiVo boxes and providing something else that depends ...

Exploring further, it looks like the Tivo Edge for Antenna would likely work the way I hoped. Tivo indicates that learning remotes have been made to work. It is also compatible with the Mini devices (we had 3 in our prior setup). Definitely a more expensive solution, but having "cut the cord", the ...

Hmmm! it has no DVR capabilities whatsoever
Since it has 8 GB of "Storage", is that only for apps? According to their comparison chart, the Roku Ultra only has 512 MB and has no trouble storing apps. But I see the Amazon Fire Stick also has 8 GB and has expanded "Apps Catalog" over the Roku Ultra ...

This item in the FAQ for the TiVo Stream 4K is possibly indicative of no IR capability:
Can multiple remotes be paired with a single device?
No. This feature is no longer supported.
Their remote does support control of a TV and separate audio system, so the remote itself apparently has IR but not ...

Tivo Stream 4K
I'm curious if anybody has tried the Tivo Stream 4K box. Paramount is whether it has IR remote capability so that I can use JP1 remotes with it. Since it has a very short attached HDMI cable, it seems unlikely that it has IR capability.
