Cleaning out the closet. My wife thinks I have an excessive number of remotes. I think she doesn't know what she's talking about but I'm willing to compromise. :)
$4 shipping for 1 remote, add $2 for each additional remote.

I tried the 15-134 for a while (it's similar to the 15-133). I like the size, and the layout is decent. What I didn't like is the squareness of the remote itself, and the size, shape and spacing of the buttons. The buttons are simply too small and too closely spaced to be comfortable to me. The menu ...

The validation thing seemed to work for me without modification, except that when I first built the extended IR file from the original IR file all the device codes reset to 0000 even though there were device codes in the original file.

I just got my remote modified over the weekend and installed the extender. Seems to work really well with the things I usually program into my remotes (mostly LKP/DKP stuff, nothing really complicated). The only odd things I've noticed so far is that the Check/Uncheck buttons seem to be reversed ...

Thanks for the update!
I'm still not having any luck with macros that contain X_ device selections though (just on normal keys, didn't even try device buttons). I get a single light on the current device, and at the end of the macro the current device seems to be changed to the last device selected ...

I'm going to assume I'm doing something wrong. I have 2 1056-BC1 remotes (a Time Warner backlit one and a Brighthouse non-backlit). Both do the same thing. I ran extinstall on a fresh download from the remote. So far so good. The old cable macros and devices are in the newirfile.ir. I have not added ...

I bought one of those cables and had the same results; it turned out to be the same problem as a few posts up where C2 and R7 are swapped on the board. I got those two parts off and put full sized components in the proper place (couldn't put the tiny parts back on) and the cable worked. I emailed ...

Lasko Fan / Heater
I have a Lasko column fan with a flimsy little IR remote. Signals are learnable on my 2116, but don't decode as anything in IR502. They seem pretty simple, but what do I know. :)
