OK, I finally was able to make the BIN files and assign the start function to the menu button. That pretty much is all that was necessary, although I may try to add a period function to some button for selecting the over the air channels. Thanks for the assistance.

The Remote Potato is third party software that runs in the background on a media center PC. It makes the PC act like a slingbox as far as any recordings on the PC is concerned. It lacks the ability to handle live TV however, so it is not a replacement for a slingbox ...

Also I notice during setup of the slingbox, there is not a provider selection that allows for over the air broadcast.

Is this possible? Or is the weird IR sequence of media center remotes not able to be handled by the slingboxes? I have a solo I'm trying to get going with a media center. Thanks.
