Having a ball!

Hey guys! loving this remote tool really fun and essential to have. I have come across a scan that is repeating on me when I only need it once and can't navigate on the slingbox.

I know this is a bit more involved to change and would love to know how to fix it. I have uploaded the RM file:

HALLELUJAH! IT WORKS!

HALLELUJAH! IT WORKS! ok I think I am onto something...First off...no one mentioned that dittos were a good thing so I was just pushing the remote with one tap so that there were no dittos. When I pressed the heck out of the button I came up with 6 dittos and it finally said NEC1 (missing link 1 ...

Well this has been a great learning experience so far...but the bins with different protocols and obcs was b/c I wanted to try out the other dvr that WAS coming up with a known protocol so I thought that one would be easier.

Because of these off brand dvr's that I have maybe this is not the time to ...

>The signals in the current ICT are NEC signals.

Yes that is what shows up when I enter them in...If I hold down the remote button I get dittos

>You need to select NEC1 from the Protocol dropdown.

I have tried NEC1 and NEC2 from a previous post and was told to use the NEC1 but that did not work ...

ok...checking checklist:

I am using the web interface for Slingbox to import the .bin files. I really just want to take a remote with a known protocol and see if I can just get it to work. Then I would know that something is going on with the off the wall remotes that I have for the dvr's. but here ...

If I hold down the button longer all I get is dittos and no update on the protocol. I will try the nec1 + 2 and see how that goes.

Well I thought that I move on to the other dvr that I have and this one is getting a NEC protocol. Just NEC nothing more so I guess I have to treat this one as a manual settings also but the device number is 210.43 and I can't enter a decimal in the box in RM.

Any suggestions?

You should know by now what DIY stands for...(Damage It Yourself) Well what happen is that I have three brand new dvr's all the same but I did not know that two right out of the box of the three remotes were bad but only one was good out of the batch that actually controlled the dvr so I then took ...

Ok so the quality control with these dvr's aren't the greatest. I have three of the same dvr and the first and second capture that was done was with the remotes that don't seem to work on the dvr's. So the only remote that does work I now captured and the only differece that I can tell is now there ...

I haven't tried out if the remote works or not yet but is there something you need me to redo in order for you to get the correct figure?
