I'll try it out for a while, and lower it if it's too much but it could be ok. I think I know how to do that now. I really should have asked for help two weeks ago, instead of wasting all that time trying to figure it out myself :S.

Don't feel too bad Vicky, I may be useless when it comes to IR ...

that hex works! I was able to generate the rest with irpmaster as instructed and those ones seem to work as well. Thanks for all the help guys/gals, you're the best!!! :D :D :D

i've tried putting 1 & 2 in the repeat same result with both. I tried a couple of different wait times as well. repeat has to be at least 1 or it doesn't send.

Not sure exactly what you mean by the LIRC file, but no files are modified/created when I send.

the protocol i found was for the solidtek keyboard.

they and their site are are the usbuirt homepage and the developers section.
