JP1 Remotes

I seem to have it working. I uninstalled all of my USB controller and hub devices, restarted, and the XSight driver installed properly.

It's been a while since I connected to my XSight Touch remote. I tried with a Windows 11 PC and got a "USB device not recognized" and "Unknown USB Device (Device Compatibility Request Failed)" in the Device Manager. So I tried with my old Windows 10 PC that previously worked and got the same error ...

Good point jeajea. It is a Roku Premiere+, so that could explain why the Roku is triggering. That's half of my problem.

You might have to go into the roku settings and un-check 1-touch play box:

setting> system> control other devices> uncheck the 1-touch play box.

What determines which device is active after choosing an activity? It doesn't seem to be consistent. On one of my remotes, after choosing the Satellite/DirecTV activity, if I press a button, my receiver switches to the Roku device input (presumably HDMI CEC) even though Roku isn't in the activity ...

That's too weird. Somehow the Denon X3200 X4400 device I'm using is slightly different than the .rmdu. Some of the devices are in a different order and AUX2 is missing. But thanks very much for pointing out the correct function to me mdavej. I appreciate it.

I've been using mdavej's "Denon X3200 X4400.rmdu" modification. I just realized it doesn't have Aux2 input which I need. I learned Aux2 as Denon-K 4.1, OBC 730, Hex 7A 4B, EFC 225, Size 45, Freq. 38278.

I've noticed on my XSight Touch that empty spaces are not respected on soft key pages. Each page has room for six entries. However, if I assign functions to Soft1 and Soft2, then Soft7, all of those functions will appear on the same page. Blank spaces aren't left for Soft3-6, so Soft7 appears on the ...

The commands don't need to do anything particular, just follow some standard IR protocol. I'm guessing that I can't just use any combination of protocol and device ...

I apologize for my very delayed response. Other things got in the way.

For some reason, the Denon AVR-X4000 device upgrade doesn't work on this remote with either my Denon X3200 or X4400 receivers.
