Excellent Mathdon, thanks so much for the speedy fix and explanation. As I was changing from a satellite receiver to streaming and discarding some old devices (VHS tape) I had deleted the devices and suspect that was the cause in some way. I was using an earlier version of RMIR so that may have ...

My windows screen is 1080p (1920 x 1080)

Rob, I don't think it is the same problem. I have come across something similar to his problem myself and if I recall correctly, it was an issue with the setup. I always find it fiddly to post screenshots so avoid them if I can. I would rather have his .rmir file and no screenshot that wait for him ...

RMIR v2.12 Help screen says 2.06?

*** Edited to remove description of problem when trying to update to new version of RemoteMaster ***

I experienced an odd behaviour with my previous version of RMIR so checked here and found the newer version despite the Help menu in my installed version saying 2.06 was the latest.

The issue I am ...

There are a couple of tricks I have done over the years to try to make the WFM of the remotes work the best I can. I have now moved to Nevo C2s.

1) Most of our watching is TV, so when turning the TV off, I had set it to the satellite input. So when turning it on, it was not necessary to wait for a ...

Deacon Crusher ... did you upload anything? I have just got a Samsung Blu ray that uses the same remote and was looking for an upgrade.

Many thanks Rob and Vicky for your comments.

My remote is a Nevo C2

It is "odd" but when I created the upgrades for the Nevo I initially found a couple of conflicts that did not show up when I tried the original remote

Soundbar (Freq 37735) OBC (& - Night mode ON) caused the Switch (Freq 37383 ...

Help with 2 device conflicts with NEC1

I have a Vizio Soundbar and a (FOSPower) HDMI switch. On learning on my Nevo2, both report NEC1 but one uses frequency 37383 and the other 37735. Both say device code 0

The original remotes do not seem to affect the "wrong" device, but when I use NEC1 to build upgrades, some buttons for one device ...

Vizio SB4551-D5 Soundbar (XRS551-D remote)

This soundbar has a mini-remote with 11 buttons. The codes (OBC/EFC) sent by the Prev:Pause:Next buttons change based on the function selected in the remote's LCD screen through using the Menu and Cursor Up/Down buttons

Similarly the input is selected based on the text in the LCD

This upgrade has ...

I also agree with pH7_jp1 that the remote is very intuitive once you realise what it is doing. It does mean you need to look at the LCD to select some things, but the frequent use items (Vol, mute, etc) are dedicated buttons

The disadvantage is that the LCD is not particularly "bright" and is not ...

Thanks pH7_jp1 - I cannot believe I missed that when checking files for something. It is virtually identical to what I discovered - and you have a few more than I was going to bother with.

I did notice a couple of irregularities that you may not have realised.

Surround On is actually OBC 35 -you ...

The way to do an OBC/EFC search is to simply try every EFC from 000-255 and see what happens. To do this on a Nevo, you'd make 4 RMDU files consisting of OBCs 0-70, 71-140, 141-210 and 211-255, roughly. If you have an older style JP1 remote, you can do this by simply tapping Setup followed by the ...
