My last PC with an LPT port died, now what? (New remote?)
So I recently upgraded my 7 year old Optoma projector to a newer model. I was hoping that the remote control codes were the same for the new projector, but alas, no.
So then I was like, no problem, learn the remote using my 8811 or my 8910, fetch the learned codes from the remote, and upgrade both ...

Any way to take a JP1 file and turn it into a CCF?
OK, I "learned" all the codes from my DViCO Fusion remote, and translated them into a KM spreadsheet file. (see HT Systems file section). I would like to take this file and convert it to a CCF format file so I can use it with another branded IR sensor in my HTPC system. Any good utility to do this ...

NAD HTR-2
I have one of these remotes for my NAD T752. It has a JP1-like plug (10 pin) on the back, and I downloaded an application from the NAD web site that looks similar to the IR.EXE program we use for our JP1 remotes. The upload/download functions work through a COM port.
My question, does anyone know ...

Here's a link to my mitsu WS48311. Probably missing a couple codes for your TV, but it'll get you started.

Yeah, I just double checked them. They decode correctly, as is evidenced by them working when learned, but when I set them up using the same parameters in the KM spreadsheet and install them as a custom device, they don't work. It's the weirdest thing. I'm pretty sure I'm doing it correctly since I ...

Weird Denon remote behavior
I have a Denon receiver that I'm using while my NAD is in the shop :( Anyway, I programmed my URC 8810 with the Denon remote codes to run my system while my other toy is gone. Here's what's weird.
If I use the learning feature of the remote and learn the volume up/down/mute, I get Denon dev 2 54 ...

OK, since you asked :)
I need the discrete on/off codes for my Samsung SIR-T150. I am not sure they even exist. I've punched through all 255 EBC codes for the protocol that's used and have found nothing (which is a really fun chore). However, supposedly someone with an MX700 figured out how to do ...
