For the URC-8820 remotes, have you done anything to these, or are they the stock remotes?

jon (and how many johns/jons/juans can we have in one thread? :)),

A couple of posts in page 2 of this discussion topic at Meedio.com seem to indicate that the Airkey keyboard I referenced above should work with the JP1 definition here.

However, I've tried all of the variations of Acer definition ...

Okay, I'm confused (but what else is new?)... If you make use of the make and break file that is posted in the files section, how do you actually program the macro that presses Ctrl, then M, then releases M, and then Ctrl?

Or alternatively, has anyone put together a file containing the Ctrl ...

There are a few scenarios that I am considering here:

Can my Robman-modded URC-6131 be updated to send out Media Center edition codes?

I know from the above posts, that my URC-6131 can send out StreamZap and/or Hauppauge compatible signals. Do we know if the infrared receiver that ships with the ...

Re: URC-6131, MCE IR Receiver, SageTV

SageTV comes "out-of-the-box" with support for the Hauppauge remote and the StreamZap remote.
With what as an IR receiver?
With the IR receiver that the remote (Hauppauge or StreamZap) would be packaged with.

Can I program my URC-6131 to send out codes for either or both of these remotes?
I'm ...

URC-6131, MCE IR Receiver, SageTV

I have SageTV, and recently purchased a Microsoft Media Center remote (with receiver).

SageTV comes "out-of-the-box" with support for the Hauppauge remote and the StreamZap remote.

Can I program my URC-6131 to send out codes for either or both of these remotes? And, will the IR receiver I got with ...

Just out of curiosity, where did the "Dishplayer (old)" name come from?

The codes for the non-PVR functions are basically the same going all the way back to the earliest Dish Network receivers, but the PVR function was added after the Dishplayer (which is I believe code 1005) came out. The ...

Just a note to publicly thank Rob for the quick turnaround and frequent updates in the purchase I made (bought a modified URC-6131 and it works great).
