JP1 Remotes

Yah, you gave me 2 options and I have select option 2, which I used data downloaded from my ReplayTV remote (Version 1). Uploaded to my Panasonic ShowStopper remote (Versio 2). Then zap $01c & $01d as described in the previous posts.

In this first download, IR reports a conflict value at $01c and it asks for confirmation to change the value from "03" to "01". I select "YES", though I don't know what this value mean? (You have mentioned before ...

Change the byte at $009 from "30" to "02" (current value is "30" not "00") and up-loaded. However, IR still show "ReplayTV/ShowStopper Version 1" in the Caption banner (top blue bar, above the menu area) when downloaded. Remote works fine...

Did step 1 thru 4 from gjarboni instructions... nothing changed! Red LCD flashing continued nonstop. Because of that, 9-8-1 reset can not be perform.
