I uploaded a new Device Upgrade that has most of the codes for the TC-P54V10. I removed ones from older sets that no longer worked and added a few such as Viera Cast and Viera Tools. Only code that I am still searching out is HDMI 4 discrete input. I should be able to guess it eventually based on ...

Here is the code for Viera Cast on a Panasonic TV:

Device: 1250 TV
EFC: 131
Sub Device: 9
Hex: $6F $36

Works perfectly. Be sure to use Hex, not EFC, due to the Sub Device code.

I will upload a complete Upgrade File for the Panasonic TC-P52v10 after I have added a few other functions. I think ...

YES!

Thanks, guys!! I got my old 7800 working fine. And yes, there is now a 'learned' tab at the top of IR. SO now I can figure out the key I need. Once done, I will post an updated upgrade file for my Panny Plasma.

It is sad that I used to know all this stuff. How quickly one forgets. But thanks to you ...

Darn, you guess well. Yes, it says "7800-6800 Extender". When I force it to always ask for RDU file, 3 options show up, but all are extender. No option for non extender version.

7800ex
URC-7800 Extender
URC-7800-6800 Extender

are the 3 options.

So my guess is that I am running the extender, which ...

Thanks. I have an old URC-7800 learning remote. I learned the Viera Link button onto it. WOrks fine. But when I connect to IR.exe program and download, it shows Learned as "N/A" at the bottom of the page. And nowhere do I see the 1L button that I learned the signal to.

I need to do some search to ...

Guys, I have another idea. I have the remote that includes the Viera Cast button. I also have a learning remote. Is there a way I can capture the button's signals, and somehow convert that into something my URC-6131 (old) can output?

Sorry, I was really deep into all of this several years ago but ...

Frequently, sending a "Channel +" or "Channel -" command will work as a discrete Tuner command. have you tried this?

(and it's usually better if you provide a link to any file you reference - then somebody trying to help doesn't have to go looking for it.)

Correct on the channel+/-. That ...

Re: TCP54V10 - Panasonic Plasma: Discrete TV Input code

9. Partially working setup code? Y
We need to know which setup code.

The file "Panasonic TH-xxPZ77U TH-xxPZ700U" has all discrete inputs except for the TV input. No Viera Cast code. Anyone know either of these?
Please post a link to the file.

I too am interested in this. Unfortunately, there is not real way to search for this topic using the forum search engine (I guess 1.1 is not a valid search item).

I tried different values for the min repeat and found that 05 was optimal. Comparing it to my original DishPlayer remote, it works pretty much identically (using the first protocol listed above).

Put a fork in it, its done!

Very odd with the multiple line issue. I had cut and pasted from an excel spreadsheet I was using to document my key moves. Maybe I got a non-viewable character in there or something, but the macro notes area I had pasted it into refuses to save multiple lines. However, I tried another macro code ...

I love this beta of IR!! I have been creating a separate spread sheet to keep track of what all my key moves mean, and this greatly simplifies things. The only thing I still would need to track separately is the notes for each of the protocols and devices. For example, I use an extender with several ...

Well, Rob solved this one for us. If you have a DishPlayer 7200, I recommend using this patched protocol. It will make button presses much more reliable. It solved my problems.

Upgrade protocol 0 = 01 0F (S3C8+)

I am trying to solve the problem that I think the author of this thread was having, but my problem is with the DishPlayer 7200 being controlled by the 6131. About 1/2 of the time when I press a button, nothing happens. I think the signal is not being sent long enough, because if I leave the button ...
