JP1 Remotes

I stupidly threw away the box so i can't return it. Ultimately I'll probably ebay it but I'm in no hurry so will keep it until you are able to take a look at it for other people (actually if you do get it working I will probably ebay the phillips as the grundig is a better box!).

The GDT-1500 seems to be a rather old box whereas the GUD1500 looks like it was released last year. I can't find any technical information on it chipset etc ...

I hadn't though about mailing my remote out to someone with an jp1/widget but that's a good idea - where would the best place to ask be (I am in the UK)?
