The fact that you found one button with a different OBC2 value certainly opens the door to the possibility that there are others to be found. It appears that you went as far as OBC1 119 using OBC2 0, so you could still test ...

Another concept which is useful when you're trying to cram too many devices into one remote is, some devices aren't devices that you really use directly, they're more like device that help you use other devices, like a/v selectors for example, so for devices like that it's usually best not to waste ...

Multiplexor Theory of Operation
Hi All:
I am new to using extenders and have a question on theory of operation. I am using Comcast JP1.3 remote that has 4 built-in devices and trying to control 6 devices using the multiplexor function.. [I realize there are other JP1.3 remotes with more devices, but I prefer the Comcast remote as ...

Comcast JP1.3 30393039 error with J1.3 Common V3.05
Hi,
I was excited to hear about this extender for the Comcast 30393039 remote.
Unfortunately, I had trouble with the extender after I installed it and could use some help.
What worked:
1) Merge install using RMIR v2.09build8 on Ubuntu 18.04
2) Uploads to the remote
3) Extender appears to activate ...

It looks like you're looking at the RMDU file using Notepad, you really should be viewing it using RMIR as it will give you much more information.
From what you've posted, that RMDU file is using the regular NEC1 protocol with device code 122. The fact that there's no sub-device means that the sub ...

Post your RMIR file so we can see how the newer upgrade went south when you added it to your remote.

Comcast JP1.3 30393039
After reviewing my old devices and comparing old files I found something strange.
It seems I was using an old Yamaha HTR-54x0 file to control RX-V620.

The keys defined for the HTR-54x0 also seem to work on my RX-V685.

Thanks for quick reponse vickyg2003! I just installed RM this morning. When I check the about box, it says I am running "RemoteMaster v2.02a". If I check for updates, I get a report that I am using version "v.2.02a Beta 1.5w"
