Now if only I can get that 'Fav' button working and 'rec' button requiring only the one press on my 8810, I'd be set.

The main reason I got involved with JP1 was to customize a remote to handle my new HTPC with SageTV as the PVR, the PVR-250 as my encoder, and the URC-8810w as the JP1 remote. I think I have useful information and links to share that will help you across the board for your PVR-250.

The .txt file is OK for general information, but for the PVR250 to really work, it has to be in conjunction to the irremote.ini file. I have a URC-8810w myself (more keys), but basically, the mappings should be about the same.

- 0150 TV Mitsubishi CS-26301,VS-50501.rmdu
- 0202 VCR RCA.rmdu
- 0672 DVD Apex AD ...

Goal 2 actions:
- Downloaded RCA VCR keymappings. Took earlier poster's advice to change VCR1 device code 14 to VCR2 device code 13.
- Loaded default with code 13 to remote. Worked great! Yay!
- Mapped all keys from old remote to new one except "+100", "Index", and "F.Adv/CS".

Thanks to a friend on JP1/SageTV (Opus4, yay!), I have bought a URC-8810w from WalMart to potentially replace the RS 15-2117 I got the other day. Figuring it to be $10 cheaper AND 8 or so more buttons, seems like a no-brainer.
