JP1 Remotes

The good news is that based solely on the fact that the remote is a pain and the fact that i am not sold on BluRay anyway...I am going to take the player back. Good news is thanks to you guys my remote is set up and working exactly like I want it to....almost ...

the code 0675 code was a no go....but it does turn my Magnavox DVD player on and off.....too bad I don't need that....

I am not really sure what you mean with those codes...I will search files and see if I can find those numbers.

since it appears I can't find a valid code for this damn BluRay would it make sense for me to get a JP1 cable...then go to my friends house and program it with his harmony remote.....then use the cable to pull in the information?

I got everything but the bluray which might be finding it's way back to bestbuy. It was 79 bucks but the remote is a pain.

It is a ns-2brd and is made by desay. I searched the files and found a desay DVD but to no avail it didn't work. I can't watch a show at all on this ...

Could I then add that function to any of the RMDU files and then assign it to a particular button. So no matter what device I have selected on the remote TV ...

alright so now I have got the txt files and the rdmu files opened up in Remote Master....

From what I have read Remote Master and KeyMaster are interchangable....is there a preference of which one to use? I am seeing a nice layout on RM that has a picture of the remote and I am assuming the yellow ...

what exactly is an RMDU file and how do I use it....just a link to a tutorial on it. I have figured out how to import the TXT files into KM but how do you combine two or three ....man I am about ready to give up

I feel bad about bugging you but what do you usually do if you can't find the KM file for a particular device? I am guessing that you learn then codes on the remote then connect the JP# cable and pull the data from the remote....this would then give you the information you need to create your own KM ...

yeah that makes sense...I have done a download of a wav file in the past for this remote so I knew I had to punch in the codes....is there a place to go to look for wav files for particular devices?

I have started to read through all the info here and am pretty overwhelmed...I know my current setup is not working as perfectly as I would like so I am hoping I can remedy all of my issues. Here is my current setup.
