Yeah, I switched to a "key" style key move last night, and that worked. Would be nice if RMIR could generate a warning when encountering such a scenario.
But regardless, after much fiddling with that and the timing on various macros, I think I finally have everything where I want it to be. Thanks ...

Today I confirmed something I suspected a while ago, when I previously reported a bricked 3660.
I carelessly connected the JP1 cable backwards when performing an upload. Now, the TV button just blinks constantly. The remote doesn't seem to respond to any button presses. Attempts at a fresh upload ...

This has been the first remote in years that I thought could be a viable replacement for my trusty (but aging) RCRP05Bs. So I picked up a couple and started experimenting with them this weekend. And while I miss the power that an extender brings, I've slowly been able to get the 3660 into a mostly ...

Hmm. Looks like you're right. It may just be that the Roku will only honor the 1, 2, & 3 keys so long as it thinks it's paired with a voice remote. I made the mistake of unpairing the remote from one before pairing with the other. Didn't think the same remote could be paired to two devices at once ...

I did encounter one other surprising bit of strangeness. After programming my Ultra, I decided to take my voice remote down to the basement, pair it with my old Roku 2, and repeat the procedure there so I could have the same shortcuts on both devices.
But once I'd done this, I discovered that the ...

Just upgraded my Ultra to 9.3 this morning. Dug out the original remote to give this new "saved voice command" feature a try. And yay, no more arrow-navigation macros to launch YouTube TV! That's certainly an improvement.
