I was just wondering if it was possible to send an IR command to control a device through IR widget.

Basically what I want to do is the following:
1. I've generated pronto hex codes using IRscope and Makehex.
2. I would like to test these pronto hex codes on the specific device that that I want to ...

I just tried opening one of the ir files while on the general tab and I can click on any of the tabs with no problem.
The version of IR that i'm using is the latest one available for download in the software section.

I just tried a few tests as follows, after each thing I reste the remote to its default before doing the next download in IR:
